RSPB Bempton Cliffs

Situated on the East Yorkshire Coast Bempton Cliffs is one of the best places in the UK to see seabirds. The RSPB reserve, located just to the North of Bridlington, is characterised by towering chalk cliffs which are home to over 250,000 birds between April and August. Species including kittiwakes, guillemots, gannets and fulmars nest on the sheer cliffs, a firm family favourite are the puffins who call the cliffs home between April and July.

Along the cliff tops walks are several specially designed viewpoints which provide excellent sightings of the nesting birds. An indoor exhibition area has large screen TVs providing views of the cliffs.

The reserve runs an active programme of events for families and wildlife enthusiasts throughout the year.
