Graves Art Gallery - Sheffield Days Out

The permanent exhibitions of the Graves Gallery in Sheffield house pieces from the city collection depicting the main movements of art through time. The gallery is housed in the city centre in the same building as the city library. Incuded within the permenant exhibitions are:
Abstraction and Art Now: which identifies the key themes of contemporary artists through the last 50 year.
A Century Of Change: showing the changes in art through priods when artists began looking at the world around them.
400 Years of European Art: looking at the key themes of story-telling, art histroy and symbolism.
Reflections: a look at portrait painting through the years

Graves is also has a prgramme of events and talks to suit all interests, abailities and ages.

Saturday 11am–4pm

Accessibility

The Graves Gallery is located on the 5th floor of a 1930's building. Wheelchair access is possible, enter through the library and the porters can assist in the use of the lift.
Seating is available throughtout the gallery.
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
Disabled toilets are available via the library.
Unfortunately there ar no baby change facilities
