Lemurs at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Take a world wildlife safari on foot at the unique Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The park offers spacious enclosures combined with unique viewing opportunities for visitors. Wildlife varies from endangered predator to cute and furry. There are several special multi-species areas, including the plains of Africa with zebra, lechwe, ostrich and eland.

For fans of big cats there are lions, tigers and a pair of amur leopards, all endangered animals in the wild. African wild dogs are the canine predators at the park.

There are several walk through wildlife enclosures which allow close access to animals including the lemur woods and the wallaby walkabout. The South American Viva walkthrough is home to mara, capybara (the largest rodent in the world), agouti, rhea and
mischievous squirrel monkeys.

The Yorkshire Wildlife Park has expanded in recent year with giraffe, baboons and a new children's play area added.

Monkey Play House: is an indoor children's play area with slides, walkways and a toddlers area. There is also a treehouse and large children's outdoor play area on the woodland trail.
