Kilnsey Park - Yorkshire Dales

The Kilnsey Park offers a fun and informative day out for all the family with plenty of new experiences to try. Situated in Wharfedale, between the villages of Grassington and Kettlewell, the estate offers nature, fishing and great Yorkshire food in a stunning setting.

Kilnsey Park Trail

The Kilnsey Park Trail is an informative outdoor experience wth animals to meet including red squirrels, goats, and pigs. THe wildflower meadow is home to the UK's rarest flower, an orchid, and attracts a wealth of butterfly and insect species.


Kilnsey has a well stoked fishery and fly fishing, including beginners courses, are available on the lake. For the kids there is fun fishing; for a small fee the kids get everything they need to fish. Any fish caught must be bought, a fee gutting service is provided.

April to September: Daily between 09:30 and 17:30

On The Door Prices:

Entrance to Kilnsey Park, Café and Estate Shop is free. Parking at Kilnsey is also free.

Kilnsey Trail
(which includes the animals, fish feeding area, nature reserve and green energy trail) and selected events. The Spring season prices for the Trail are:

Child/Concession – £3.50

Adult – £4.50

Family (2 adults + 2 children) – £14

Under 3s – Free

Kilnsey park is wheelchair friendly, the nature trail is on a natural slope and may be awkward for manual chair users. Disabled toilets and baby change failities are available.
