Library Fest Leeds
4th - 18th February
A range of events, workshops and activities to celebrate our libaraies, reading and books. At libraries and venues across the Leeds area attend workshops, meet authors and performances.
Leeds St Patrick's Day Parade
Sunday 12 March 2017
in Millennium Square, Activities on the square starts at 10.30am, with the Parade leaving the Square at 11.00am The Parade Route: The Leeds St Patricks Day Parade has followed the same route for numerous years and takes marchers through the heart of Leeds City Centre before finishing at the back of Millennium Square.
10th to 20th April 2017
The Leeds Young Film Festival is back with a range of movies all the family will ove, workshops, masterclasses and behind the scenes experiences for young people.
Live At Leeds
29th April 2017
A metropolitan music festival at various venues across the city, showcasing local up and coming bands alongside established national acts. The main Saturday event sees over 100 acts perform, buy a wristband and plan your day!
Bramham International Horse Trials
8th to 11th June
Promising four packed days of top equestrian sport and entertainment, there will equestrian events ranging from the main international horse trial events to pony club team events, and stalls, shopping, children's fun, falconry displays and much more.
Leeds Total Warrior
24th & 25th June
Expect more of the usual trademark TW obstacles including Human BBQ, The Shocker, The Plunge, You Tube, Worm Muncher and Hang Tough (to name a few). In addition, this stunning venue means lots of new bespoke obstacles made especially for this event. Be prepared for mud, hills, water, fire, more mud and ice as we put you through our gruelling 12K course. Not everyone will finish, but those who do will be greeted with a victory beer and maybe even a hose pipe to clean up, if you are lucky! Click here for course and obstacle info. At Bramham Park
11th to 13th August
A full weekend of live entertainment, live music, VW’s galore and a great venue with a laid back atmosphere. 21,000 attendance at the 2016 show. Started in 2005. Something for everyone. This year's fancy dress theme is the MOVIESl at Harewood House.
25th to 27th August
One of the iconic festivals of the UK festival season, held at Bramham Park. Headliners for 2016 include Kasabian and Muse.
Leeds International Beer Festival
7th to 10th September
An annual 4 day festival celebrating and promoting caft beer from the UK & overseas. Along with 100's of beers and ciders the festival has a street food market and live music on two stages.
Leeds Film Festival
2nd to 16th November 2017
The Leeds International Film Festival (LIFF) is the largest film festival in England outside London. Founded in 1987, it is held in November at various venues throughout Leeds, West Yorkshire. LIFF features five programme sections: Official Selection, Retrospective, Cinema Versa, Fanomenon and Short Film City.
