Most famous for Ilkley Moors and that song, On Ilkla Moor Baht 'at, Ilkley sits on the River Wharfe in Lower Wharfedale, and is dominated by Victorian architecture, wide streets and floral displays. In Victorian years the town was a popular spa detsination where tourists game to "take the waters", nowadays Ilkley is still a popular tourist destination attracting walkers, cyclists and rock climbers to the moors, and the Dales Way.
