Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb

17th to 19th February
Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb is recognised by the European Union, if it's not from Yorkshire it can't have the name! This weekend celebration includes walks, cooking demos and talks, about rhubarb and many other local speciailities. If you enjoy food, go visit!

Bradford Beer Festival

22nd to 26th February
Over 130 real ales, ciders and fruit wines, evening entertainment. Held at the Victoria Hall, Saltaire.

Malton Food Lovers Festival

27 & 28th May
Malton's annual celebration of Yorkshire produce and cookery, with a varied and packed programme including celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, delicious street food, over 160 market stalls of local produce, family entertainment, tastings, talks and to wash it all down a beer, champagne and cider festival!

Sheffield Food Festival

27th to 29th May
A full artisan food market and tempting street food traders. Budding chefs and novices alike can find inspiration in the festival demo tent, where professional local chefs will demonstrate their skills, followed by chances to taste their creations. And don’t miss BBC Radio Sheffield’s laugh-a-minute Ready, Steady, Cook! competitions each day, pitting presenters and chefs against each other in fast paced cooking battles.

Dales Festival of Food & Drink

17th & 18th June
Sampling local produce and food in the Food Hall, watching cookery and farming demonstrations, listen to bands and generally having a good time. The Dales Festival of food and drink is a great family event and showcase of local produce and suppliers.

September

Leeds International Beer Festival

7th to 10th September
An annual 4 day festival celebrating and promoting caft beer from the UK & overseas. Along with 100's of beers and ciders the festival has a street food market and live music on two stages.

Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival

22nd to 24th September
Holmfirth's annual celebration of food and drink, with an abundance of local produce, local producers, opportunities to watch, tatse and buy.

York Food Festival

22nd September to 1st October
The festival includes the usual plethora of foodie events with demontsrations, markets, tastings, dinners and to keep with the theme includes art, photography and poetry competitions.

Lotherton Hall Food & Drink Festival

A new festival of 2016 with a whole host of the best street food traders around, amazing local producer & craft stalls, speciality bars offering locally produced beers and other alcoholic beverages

York Chocolate Festival

2016 Date TO Be Confirmed
Tastings, workshops, talks, market, kitchen demonstrations, discussions and dinner all with one theme: Chocolate. Plenty fo games and chocolate fun for younger visitors.

A mini festival of food & drink to whet your appetite for the main York Food & Drink Festival stating on 23rd September.

Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival

18th June
There will be 150 fantastic stalls offering a wide variety of vegan products including cakes, chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and cheese that tastes like cheese! Held at Leeds Town Hall.

Dales Festival of Food & Drink

18th & 19th June

Homegrown Food Festival

26th June
Homegrown Food Fest 2015 was a tremendous success. Over 100 food and drink stalls, 6000 visitors, live music, a pop-up allotment, a wonder worm theatre garden all coming together to celebrate our brilliant region. A big thank you to everyone who made it happen. 2016 promises more of the same.

With a fantastic selection of hot street food traders, some of the best local producers around & speciality bars to keep the customers fed & watered, plus live music on stage throughout the weekend, free children's entertainment, free wine tasting, fun fair and much more

After the success of theinaugural Horsforth Food & Drink Festival in 2015 it's back this year bigger and better. With more traders, for food, wine and beer, children's entertainment and more.

Cottingham Food Festival

18th September
This year sees the 4th instalment of the Cottingham Food and Drink Festival, a wide range of local stall holders selling East Riding produce from both land and sea.  Taking place on Sunday 18th September, (Market Green, Cottingham) the day will also see cookery demonstrations by top Regional Chefs using the best local produce.

York Food & Drink Festival

This years theme and programme is still to be announced, undoubtably there wll be a tasty local produce market chef demos and delightful tastings.

Holmfirth Food Festival

24th & 25th Spetember
Back for the 11th year with a new dedicated FairTrade zone, showcasing ethical and sustainable vendors. Approx 50 stalls will be in town to bring ing a culinary mix that keeps bringing people back year after year.

World Curry Festival

Beverley Food Festival

Held in The Marketplace in the centre of Beverley, the 2016 Beverley Food Festival will feature over 100 stalls, offering the very best in locally grown and produced food and drink. Established for over ten years, this event offers something for everyone, with the Food Theatre Marquee, great local produce, local musicians, children's entertainment and so much more.
