Swaledale Festival

27th May to 10th June
Swaledale Festival is an annual celebration of music and arts in the beautiful landscape of the three northernmost Yorkshire Dales - Swaledale, Wensleydale and Arkengarthdale.
This year, as always, the Swaledale Festival offers an eclectic and inspiring mix of world class classical, folk and jazz music, exceptional young artists, entertaining groups, drama, film, dance, art exhibitions, workshops, talks and guided walks in the beautiful Dales landscape.

Brighouse 1940's Weekend

3rd & 4th June
There is so much going on at the Brighouse 1940s Weekend, from re-enactor displays, vintage and local food and craft market, dancing, singers, vintage and military vehicles, fairground rides and much, much more.

Yorkshire Cosplay Con

3rd & 4th June
Activities at the convention include a variety of contests, meeting new people, Mixture of Japanese/English Music, traders, Artists, Special Guests, workshops, card-gaming, trading, video gaming, karaoke, live entertainment and more! Held at Sheffield Arena

North Yorkshire Open Studios

3rd & 4th June and 10th & 11th June
Opening Times: 10.30am – 5.30pm, Free
Discover art in truly inspirational locations, following the trail of studios stretching from the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline to the moors and dales. Take a look into workspaces of all shapes and sizes, from fisherman’s cottages to Victorian workhouses, at the biggest selected artist open studios in the UK, which offers a tantalising glimpse inside the usually private world of artists.
Expect to see a fantastic mix of established and exciting new creative talent, from potters and painters, to jewellers, textile artists and printmakers and lots more. There are many chances to have a go, take part in an inspiring and fun activity and try something new with friends or family.

Beverley Folk Festival
