Snowdrop Spectacular at Burton Agnes Hall

4th Feb to 5th March
Wander through a wonderful blanket of snowdrops on the woodland walk. Every February, millions of hardy snowdrops push through the cold winter ground to create a magnificent ‘white carpet’ across the woodland floor at the Cunliffe-Listers’ Elizabethan family home.

Top Secret Blues Festival

24th to 27th th March
Held at the Ocean Room at The Scarborough Spa, the Top Secret Blues Festival is one of the worst kept secret in Blues is a top quality festival with a high standard.

York Literature Festival

16th to 30th March
The festival promotes the arts in York, with an emphasis on literature, spoken word and poetry. We also feature music, comedy, cinema and theatre in our programme. The festival takes place annually in March.
This year is largest programme ever delivered, with more than 60 events in two weeks! The York Literature Festival HUB, an additional programme of events run by writing groups in the local area, all taking place within York Theatre Royal. We hope that HUB will provide an extra dimension to the overall festival, showcasing some of the talent that York and the surrounding area has to offer.

Sheffield Adventure Film Festival

17th to 19th March
100 epic adventures shown at the art deco Showcase Cinema in Sheffield provide the backdrop to SHAFF 2014, add some young adventurers films and an urban orienteering course, plus speakers, talks and workshops.

Ilkley Film Festival

29th March to 2nd April 2017
With 40 screenings across seven genres the third Ilkley Film Festival programme offers more previews, more local talent and more variety than ever before. From horror and thriller, comedy and romance, to hard-hitting documentaries and live musical screenings, the festival will bring a myriad of firsts to the Victorian spa town, including screenings at the new Ilkley Cinema.
