Santa Experience at Lightwater Valley

5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 21st & 22nd December
It’s not Christmas without a visit to Santa, so bring your little ones to Lightwater Valley’s Santa Experience for a truly magical time.  Jump aboard the Polar Lightwater Express as it takes you on a wintertime train ride to Santa’s cabin, then enjoy a fireside story with Santa and his elves.  There’ll be refreshments for everyone and of course a very special Christmas present, and even a little something for the adults!  Enjoy our festive UV Puppet Show and all your favourite fairground rides.

Santa Specials

28th & 29th November, 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th and 24th December
Join the KWVR Santa Special at Oxenhope, Haworth or Keighley Stationsfor a ten-mile return journey by steam train, lasting around an hour. Experience nostalgia and the magic of Christmas in specially decorated coaches, with festive music to get you in the mood. Santa and his pixies visit each child during the journey,delivering presents and the grown-ups are served with a mince pies and seasonal drink.

Father Christmas at South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum

12th & 13th December
Entrance Fee includes tea or coffee with mince pie or chocolate.  Father Christmas will be at the museum from 11 am.   Kids can post a letter and take home a surprise present. 10% off all models and kits in the shop and cockpits open in the hangar.  

Santa at Kilnsey Park

20th December
On Sunday 20th December Father Christmas will be making a special visit to the Crag, so that children can come and meet him in the Kilnsey grotto and receive an early gift. Times will be 11.00 to 3.30 and the cost will be £5 per child including a gift. You can pre-book your timeslot by emailing info@kilnseypark.co.uk
There will also be a special Christmas trail and Santa’s pony rides to enjoy. To warm the cockles there’ll be mulled wine and mince pies and a free hot chocolate with every fun fishing ticket.

Santa's Magical Grotto at Thorp Perrow

4th to 6th, 10th to 13th, 17th -24th December
Come and meet Santa and his elves in his magical winter wonderland.... follow the magic trail to the cabin where the elves work.  A wonderful adventure for children and adults alike!  Present from Santa included.  Charges Apply. Weekends for all - School days for pre-schoolers.

Meet Santa and enjoy some festive fun. Open every day from 28th November to 23rd December, except Mondays. Weekday hours are restricted.

Santa, Elves & Sleigh Bells at Tropical Butterfly House

5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th to 24th December
Hitch a ride aboard a magical sleigh on your way to meet Father Christmas at the Enchanted Grotto. Visit the Nativity scene in the cosy stable and meet friendly farm animals and more in unforgettable Animal Encounters. Take a seat for pantomime-style free-flying Bird Shows daily, featuring amazing birds of prey and parrots, and visit the Elf Workshop for Christmas crafts and activities.

Santa Specials On The Elsecar Heritage Railway

28th & 29th November, 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th to 22nd December
Everyone  on-board the train receives a present from Santa, including the grown ups! After leaving Elsecar and Wentworth Station, accompanied by his favourite helpers, Santa makes his way down the train and stops to chat to every child, and provides them with a quality wrapped present for Christmas. Mum and Dad are not forgotten either with complementary Wentworth Beer,Wine, Baileys and Mince Pies during their journey.
