Set across 84 acres in the village of Bagby near Thirsk, Monk Park Farm is a popular family-friendly farm park offering hands-on animal encounters, interactive play spaces, and scenic countryside walks. Located in the heart of Herriot Country at the foot of the Sutton Bank, it is an ideal day out for families with young children.
Visitors can meet and feed a wide range of friendly farm animals, burn off energy in outdoor adventure play zones, ride the popular barrel train, and explore peaceful lakeside trails throughout the site.

- Animal Feeding & Petting Barn: Get up close with sheep, goats, pigs, alpacas, llamas, deer, wallabies, and small pets. Animal feed bags can be purchased at the entrance.
- Outdoor Adventure Play & Sandpit: Packed with climbing frames, slides, a large sandpit area, and a pedal car track for little drivers.
- The Barrel Train & Air Bouncers: Hop aboard the fun barrel train ride across the farm fields, or let kids bounce away on the large outdoor air bouncers (weather permitting).
- "Little Thirsk" Indoor Role Play: A dedicated indoor interactive role-play village where young kids can dress up and explore mini town shops and services.
- Nature & Lake Walk: Enjoy a gentle 1-mile walking track around the farm's scenic lake and woodland paddocks.

Serving hot lunches, sandwiches, fresh cakes, ice cream, and hot drinks. A covered marquee space and outdoor picnic tables are also provided for families bringing their own packed lunches.

Admission Cost
Ticket prices vary slightly between peak (school holidays/weekends) and off-peak term-time days. Advance online booking is recommended during peak periods. Under 2s enter free.
Essential companion tickets are supported via the Access Card scheme.
