Nestled on the southwestern edge of Sheffield bordering the Peak District, Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is a 138-acre educational working farm and registered charity. Established in 1979, the farm gives inner-city children, families, and visitors a chance to experience real agriculture, sustainable food, and countryside life firsthand.
From meeting friendly farm animals and exploring the grounds to shopping for locally sourced produce and dining at the farm cafe, Whirlow Hall offers an engaging, accessible outing for all ages while directly supporting educational programs for vulnerable young people across South Yorkshire.

The Whirlow Cafe ☕

Admission Cost
General admission to the farm shop, cafe, and main yard is FREE (donations to the charity are warmly welcomed).
Note: Small entry fees apply for special ticketed events like Lambing Weekends, Halloween, and Christmas Fayres.
Opening Hours
Farm grounds & Farm Shop: Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays, except bank holidays).
Dog Policy
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome in outdoor areas and designated cafe seating, but restricted near livestock pens.
