The Secret Forest Parks and Playgrounds
The Secret Forest at Hazlewood Castle is a fantasy-filled woodland walk, with fairies, witches, dragons and boglins to discover. Follow the winding trail through the towering trees and discover the magic of the forest.
Cross the bridge to the giant door and then the trail begins. Discover the dragon and knights guarding the castle, the fairy houses and villages. Play is Sir Vavasor's Castle, explore the witches hut and find the sleepy village of Bogglinton, where the goblin like Boglins live.
Play your own forest music in the Woodland music area and make a wish in the wishing mirror grove.
Pick up a trail sheet and see if you can find the letters and discover the name of the dragon, plus answer the questions to discover the code to open the treasure chest.
The trail takes around 2 hours, depending on how long you have to play in the muliple play areas and sand pit area.
Snacks, hot and cold drinks and ice-cream are available from the ticket kiosk, where the trail starts and ends.
Suitable for ages 2 to 10.
