Shine On Goole: A Bicentenary Illumination
- When:19th and 20th March 2026
- Where:St John’s Parish Church & Town Centre
- What:A stunning music-led projection show that brings Goole’s history to life. Watch as the town’s iconic landmarks are transformed by light and sound in a spectacle that rivals the big city light festivals.
Helios by Luke Jerram
- When:25th Septemberto 5th October 2026
- What:From the artist who brought us the famous "Museum of the Moon," Helios is a brand-new, internationally-touring installation coming to Goole. This is a massive "get" for the town and a must-see for art lovers across the North.
Bi-Centenary Weekend
- When:18th to 20th July 2026
- What:A varied programme of events and activities will take place at venues across the town to coincide with Goole’s 200th anniversary weekend.
Goole 200: A History of Goole in 200 objects
- When:23rd May to 10th July 2026
- Where:Goole Museum
- What:To mark Goole’s bicentenary year, this special exhibition will explore the rich and fascinating history of Goole and its people through 200 objects. Chosen from Goole Museum’s extensive collections, as well as items loaned and donated by the community, these objects will illuminate both dramatic and everyday stories from 200 years of Goole’s history.
Teddy Bears Picnic and Maypole Celebrations
