After an incredible debut, the Scarborough Food and Drink Festival returns this April to celebrate global flavors, artisan crafts, and family-friendly fun. Set within the historic Scarborough Open Air Theatre, it’s a vibrant weekend of tasting, sipping, and socializing by the coast.

  • Dates: 12th and 13th April 2026.
  • Times: Saturday (10 am – 5 pm) | Sunday (10 am – 4 pm)
  • Location: Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Burniston Road, YO12 6PF
  • Cost: FREE Entry all weekend (No tickets required)

🥙 What’s on the Menu?

Expect over 60 independent stalls serving up a culinary trip around the world. Whether you're a street-food fanatic or an artisan hunter, there's a plate for everyone:

  • Global Street Food: Greek and Turkish baklava, Mexican tacos, German sausages, Caribbean jerk chicken and wood-fired pizzas.
  • Local Legends: Fresh Yorkshire crumbles, artisan cheeses, and gourmet pies.
  • Sweet Treats: Freshly made waffles, donuts, crumbles, and crepes.
  • Drinks and Tipi Bar: Relax in the giant tipi with craft gins, locally produced rums, sustainable vodkas, and fruit ciders.

There’s something for everyone at the festival:

  • FunFair: O'Brien's Funfair will have a range of popular fairground rides
  • Craft Stalls: handmade gifts, creative designs, and unique wares from local makers.
  • Four-Legged Friends: There are public toilets located at the Low Mill car parkWell-behaved dogs on leads are welcome! There may even be some specialized dog treats available from selected traders.

🚗 Travel & Accessibility

Getting to the festival is easy:

  • Parking: The best places to park are the Lower and Upper Northstead car parks or along North Marine Drive.
  • Accessibility: The venue is fully wheelchair and pram-friendly, with level access to the main festival area.
