Strict No Fire / BBQ Rule
Dry peat soil beneath heather is extremely flammable. Disposable BBQs and open fires are strictly prohibited across all Yorkshire moors.
Stick to Marked Paths
Trampling heather damages young shoots and causes soil erosion. Stay on established bridleways and public footpaths.
