Burton Constable Hall has unveiled a major new festive attraction for 2026: Winterlight: The Tudor Glow. Marking the historic estate's first-ever illuminated winter trail, this after-dark experience transforms the sweeping Capability Brown parkland into a glowing spectacle inspired by the grandeur, color, and craftsmanship of the Tudor age.

Running from Thursday 3rd to Wednesday 23rd December 2026, Winterlight: The Tudor Glow draws direct inspiration from Burton Constable's 700-year Elizabethan heritage. Designed exclusively for the Hall, it offers local residents and visitors to Hull & East Yorkshire a spectacular new Christmas experience closer to home.

What to Expect Along the Trail 🏰✨

Designed for families, couples, and friends, the experience combines dramatic outdoor light installations with warm seasonal food and atmospheric storytelling:

• The Illuminated Parkland Route: Follow a beautifully lit night-walk winding through the historic Capability Brown landscape, where light, color, and projections bring the estate's grounds to life.
• Tudor & Elizabethan Heritage: Installations are custom-designed for Burton Constable, celebrating its rich history and architectural detail in an entirely new light.
• Festive Food & Warming Drinks: Stop along the way to enjoy seasonal favorites, including rich hot chocolate, mulled wine, hot mince pies, and local winter treats.
