Doncaster Festival of Light
Spectacular Immersive Light Art Inside Historic Doncaster Minster.
Posted on 17th October 2026
Transforming one of South Yorkshire's most iconic landmarks, the Doncaster Festival of Light returns to Doncaster Minster this winter. Delivered by community arts organization Right Up Our Street, this immersive event brings world-class light installations and soundscapes into the dramatic gothic architecture of the Minster.
The 2026 festival runs across multiple evenings from late November through early December. Designed as an accessible indoor event for all ages, visitors can walk through the Minster nave to experience large-scale artwork illuminated against the historic stone walls and stained glass windows.
