Get ready for an exciting new addition to the Yorkshire Coast's winter calendar as the Whitby Fire & Ice Festival launches on 23rd January 2027!

Set to become one of the region's most vibrant annual celebrations, this brand new event brings together culture, creativity, folklore, and community spirit across historic Whitby.

Spanning locations from Baxtergate to the Harbourside, the festival is designed to celebrate Whitby’s unique identity, maritime heritage, and storytelling culture. Supported by the Vibrant and Sustainable High Streets Fund from the Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and the Combined Authority, this initiative aims to bring high street spaces to life during the winter season.
