Every February, thousands of hardy snowdrops push through the cold winter ground to create a magnificent ‘white carpet’ across the woodland floor here at Burton Agnes.

A spectacular display of snowdrops in the 12-acre grounds. In the very heart of the picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, this powerful winter display showcases our impressive range of snowdrops!
Snowdrop displays at Fountains Abbey are a legacy left by Earl de Grey who planted the flowers along the banks of the River Skell when he owned the estate during the 19th century. There are miles of footpaths and trails to explore and whichever walking route you choose, you’ll find beautiful views.
10th to 19th February 2025
The focus of the gardens will be very much on our snowdrops, with information boards and talks highlighting almost 100 varieties of these lovely flowers that we have here in the Gardens in the early spring.
In 2016 visitors helped to mark Beningbrough's 300th birthday by planting 300,000 bulbs on a new walk along the south ha-ha. As winter turns to spring this area will be blanketed in colour, from the white of the snowdrops to the pale purple of the crocus and the vibrant yellows of the daffodils.
7th February to 31st March 2025
Take a stroll through the ever-expanding swaths of snowdrops in the gardens and grounds of Kiplin Hall this spring. This year the Hall will also be open during February!
Tucked away at the foot of the Cleveland Hills in North Yorkshire, Mount Grace Priory, House and Gardens is the perfect place to get away from it all. See the gardens recently renovated under the direction of Chris Beardshaw. And don't forget to keep a look out for the famous priory stoats as you go.

Snowdrop season is the start of the floral calendar and a great year of gardening ahead. York Gate Garden welcome you to come and explore our fabulous snowdrop displays throughout the garden.
Restored after years of neglect, the 15 acres of pleasure grounds at Brodsworth are now some of the most remarkable Victorian gardens in the country. At the start of the new growing season Brodsworth is alive with colour. Daffodils, bluebells, aconites and 500,000 snowdrops adorn the wildflower lawns and woodland floors providing a vivid reminder that winter is over and spring has arrived.
The snowdrops pop their heads up from early January and can be seen in clumps the kitchen garden and in swathes in the ancient woodland. The snowdrops are joined by carpets of stunning yellow winter aconite and the bright yellow blooms of the witch hazel trees.
1st to 28th February 2025
Nothing heralds the start of spring better than the beautiful snowdrops. Carefully nurtured over the past 20 years by the Head Gardener and volunteers, the Wentworth Woodhouse Gardens become littered with these delicate flowers throughout February.
9th and 16th February 2025
By kind permission of the owners, the popular Snowdrop Sunday walks at the Old Hall, Londesborough, will be held on Sunday 9th February and Sunday 16th February 2025 from 10.30am to 4pm. The grounds will be open to the public, weather and conditions permitting. The church will be be open with displays of local interest and heritage.
